it happened...3/28 was the date andy said to me..."so you wanna take a vacation this summer over the 4th" !!!! now vacation planning is that big of a deal for many but for us it can prove to be. you see, i'm of the opinion it's the planning process that gets in the way. for with it comes a commitment to do something that is months away! we are not good at that. i feel i could be, but one will never know....well, until now that is. so, the week of july 4th (my birthday btw) we will head west! on a road trip to south dakota, mt. rushmore, the bad lands, and who knows what else. to say i'm looking forward to it would be an understatement. for i'll be traveling roads i'm yet to be on. that in its self is an adventure. i can't wait!

- our vacation
- taking in a concert w/ my girl
- hitting up the amusement parks for a thrill or 2
- getting the swayzee house under way
- camp for the kiddos
wow...looking forward to sunshine, warm weather, and no school....
on a side note ....please lift up in prayer my friend jessica...she'll be having surgery tomorrow, monday at the latest. and for her family as they will all by going through some changes as she recovers. prayers for peace and healing. pray also for my daughter (& all those who are trying out) who will be trying out for cheerleader this coming week. she's already experiencing a great bit of anxiety and stress.
