time....
2 3/4 years spent remodeling one of our homes
1+ years it's been listed for sale.
1+ year under contact to purchase another
a year and a month since moms passing
2 weeks until kat gets her liscense
1 1/2 year away from kats HS graduation
2 years until college
2 years left for all 4 of us to be together (vacations, holidays, under one roof)
4 years and all will have graduated and moved on
4 years and we'll be empty nesters

sigh....
too much time for somethings and just not enough for others.
