4th weekend!

well, so much for blogging daily. (confessions of a slacker!)

June was crazy busy and seem to last forever yet come to a close all to quickly. Now it's the Holiday weekend I enjoy oh so much. I love that there's a holiday that brings an entire country together. I hope & pray people focus on the purpose of this holiday! ...aside from the fact it's my birthday! woo hoo! jk

Saturday my family will journey over to Fairmount to celebrate with family & friends at my moms traditional July 3rd celebration. I've not attended for the last 5 +- years because i've been out of town. Kinda looking forward to it this year. We will also be celebrating my great nieces birthday! Ella! she turned 1 at the end of June.

I'm going to look at this years birthday as a rebirth of me if you will. I've done what I needed to do regarding 'loose ends' in my life. and am moving on...as is. But more importantly ...better than ever. I've been blessed with awesome people in my life from my husband, kids, family - the replacements, church family, friends and etc... I can't think of anywhere that I go that I don't see a friendly face. I am truly blessed.

So here's to my Birthday! a new year and a new outlook! ...I better wear my shades!
