my favorite month is coming to an end....

and so october draws to a close. oh how this saddens me. our saturday was spent running errands early in the day and then finishing up kates costume. adorable. if i do say so myself. matt is feeling somewhat better. still uncomfortable breathing, getting dizzy & coughy. ready for it to pass as he has bb tryouts next week. prayers that he'll make the team are much appreciated. he'll be devastated otherwise. andy & i and some of the youth (not otherwise engaged) sold caramel apple slices at the sweetser pumpkin walk for adam debatise. sadly this 29 year old has terminal cancer. hard enough to deal with alone but can be doubly troubling when you know you'll be leaving behind the wife & kids. we wanted to help in some way. prayers for the family & him are also appreciated.

the day was a beautiful one and the wind kept me reminded of Gods awesomeness. not to mention the warmth of His sun.

tomorrow is halloween...truly and we'll be giving out treats to the folks at the nursing home. and then carving a couple of pumpkins. yay for sundays and yay for family.
